How to edit a PDF online

Editing a PDF used to need expensive desktop software. With PDFinator you can do it in your browser in a few clicks.

1. Upload your file

Open the workspace and drag a PDF or image onto the window, or click Upload. You can also start from a blank page in common sizes such as A4 or Letter.

2. Add and change content

Pick a tool from the toolbar:

  • Text — type new text in any font, size and colour, and resize the box.
  • Edit text — change words that already exist in a text PDF.
  • Image — insert a logo, photo or stamp.
  • Pen and highlighter — draw freehand or highlight lines.
  • Shapes — add lines, arrows, rectangles and circles.
  • Notes and links — leave comments or turn text into a clickable link.

3. Place symbols

Open the Collections side menu and drag a ready-made icon onto the page. Move, resize, rotate, mirror and recolour it until it fits.

4. Manage pages

Rotate, reorder, delete, merge and split pages from the page manager.

5. Download

Click Download, check the preview, choose which icons appear in the legend and export as PDF, JPG, PNG, Word and more.
